Coming Soon To A Coffee Cup Near You

    Congratulations! I’ve heard they have a pretty wide circulation. Bess Eaton only allows God’s comments on theirs!

    Well, I’ve been avoiding Starbucks since it came to our town–my favorite family-owned coffee place promptly went out of business, and by George, I’m not too big to hold a grudge. However, I hope you’ll let me know when the cup comes out, so I can (begrudgingly) go to Starbucks to get one.

    Walmart, Starbucks, Home Depot. Soon our town might as well be known as “Modesto North.”

    Speaking of coffee and coversations … I can picture myself having this conversation at my local Starbucks next year.

    I want a cup.

    What size and what do you want in it?

    Any size and I don’t want anything in it.

    You just want the cup?
