A Call To Prayer
The President of the United States has declared September 16 a day of prayer and remembrance for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. It almost sounds like a sick joke (even by my own dark palette) in consideration of the government’s inability to manage a national disaster of this magnitude. They might as well pray. So might the rest of us. It will work at least as well as calling the government. It works at least as well as voting.
